Ts. Dr. Muhammad Hammad Rasool

Dr. Muhammad Hammad Rasool is a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Institute of Sustainable Energy and Resources, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (Malaysia). He is among the Top 10 Petroleum Engineering Scientists in Malaysia as per AD Scientific Index 2026. His research lies at the intersection of drilling engineering, geochemistry, and carbon storage, with a focus on developing sustainable materials and data-driven solutions for the energy transition.

He pioneered the use of Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NADES) as eco-friendly shale inhibitors in drilling mud; an innovation that led to various international recognition in form of publications and chapters. His current research explores valorisation of waste materials as multifunctional drilling fluid additives, acid-resistant cement systems for CO₂ storage wells, and the application of Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) in CCS. Dr. Hammad has guest-edited international special issues on CO₂ sequestration and sustainable drilling technologies, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in low-carbon subsurface engineering. His interdisciplinary approach bridges geochemistry, materials science, and digital modelling, driving innovations that align energy security with environmental responsibility.

Dr. Tee Tuan Poy

Dr. Tee Tuan Poy is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). She is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in sustainable livestock systems, waste management, and environmental modelling. Her research integrates animal science with environmental sustainability, emphasizing innovative strategies for resource efficiency and waste valorisation in agriculture.

Dr. Tee holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Environmental Modelling and Management from Imperial College London, University of London, along with an M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Environmental Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her strong academic background has enabled her to conduct impactful research at the intersection of technology, agriculture, and environmental management.

Her work primarily focuses on optimizing livestock waste utilization, developing sustainable composting systems, and applying remote sensing and GIS tools for agricultural modelling. Among her notable contributions is research on co-composting livestock manure using agricultural residues to minimize pollution and improve soil health — an initiative that aligns closely with global sustainability goals.

Beyond her research, Dr. Tee is deeply involved in academic teaching, student supervision, and community outreach programs that promote sustainable farming practices. She has collaborated with government agencies, academic institutions, and industry partners to develop environmentally responsible agricultural solutions.

Through her continued dedication to innovation and sustainability, Dr. Tee Tuan Poy contributes meaningfully to advancing sustainable agricultural systems and fostering resilience against environmental challenges.

Assoc. Prof. Gs. Sr Dr. Nurul Hazrina Binti Idris

Dr. Nurul Hazrina Idris is an Associate Professor of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in the Geoinformation Department of Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying (FABU) since 2005. She received her doctoral degree from the University of Newcastle, Australia in 2014. Currectly, she is the Associate Director of UTM International for Global Strategy and Engagements, and also the Manager of External and Global Engagement of FABU. She was a proud recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Malaysian Scholar 2022/2023 holding a 3-month research program at the Ohio State University, United States. In 2017, she received the Australian Awards (Endeavour Research Fellowship) from the Australian Government holding a 6-months fellowship program at the University of Newcastle, Australia. She has published 30 peer-reviewed papers with a cumulative impact factor of more than 10, 10 chapters in research books, and four edited research books in various national and international outlets. In support of her research, she garnered RM2 million through 29 international, national, and institutional grants. She recently published an edited book ‘Coastal Altimetry Selected Case Studies from Asian Shelf Seas’ with Elsevier Publishing. Her research interests primarily involve marine remote sensing with foci on 1) coastal altimetry, 2) sea-level rise and climate change and 3) artificial intelligence and expert systems in Remote Sensing. International institutions recognize her expertise by supervising international research internships and visiting researchers inbound to UTM.
Other noteworthy accomplishments include an appointment as the Chair of the Local Organizing Committee of 15th Pan Ocean Remote Sensing Conference and Tutorial Capacity Building in Malaysia (2020/2021); the Chair of Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on Ocean Remote Sensing towards Climate Resilience (2021-present); she was elected to be an Exco Member of IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Malaysia Chapter.

Prof. Dr. H. Paramesh

Prof. Dr. H. Paramesh, MD, FAAP (USA), FIAP, FIAMS, FIAA, FICAAI, FPAI, FICS, FICCP, FKSTA, is a distinguished Pediatric Pulmonologist, Environmentalist, and Physician Scientist. He serves as a Visiting Professor at the Divecha Centre for Climate Change, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), India. Prof. Paramesh is the Founder and Chairman of Dr. H. Paramesh Education Trust and has held several prestigious leadership roles, including Past National President of the Indian Academy of Allergy and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (2015).

With over 849 invited scientific presentations, 119 publications, contributions to 38 textbooks, and more than 50 oration awards, his contributions to pediatric respiratory medicine, environmental health, and climate change are globally recognized. He has served as an advisor to international organizations including WHO, UNICEF, and the World Bank, and has been a visiting professor in multiple countries worldwide.

Prof. Paramesh has received numerous honors, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (2022) and the White Coat Legend of India Award (2024), recognizing his lifelong dedication to child health, environmental protection, and medical education.

Dr. Saji Baby

Saji Baby is the Director of the Centre for Excellence in Sustainability, Environment, and Climate Change at MIT World Peace University, Pune. A Chartered Environmental Engineer with over three decades of experience. His expertise includes waste-to-energy, coastal and marine systems, emissions mitigation, smart cities, low-carbon energy and carbon capture, risk assessment, clean technologies, and climate forcing.

Saji has led over 138 projects in the UAE and Kuwait as Principal Investigator and Project Leader, securing over USD 4 million. His contributions include Kuwait’s nuclear energy discourse, Kuwait Metro and National Railway, Damietta Sea Port in Egypt along the Mediterranean Sea, Sargassum studies in Qatar waters, and sustainable development of Al Samalia Island in Abu Dhabi.

Saji is author of two books, with 32 journal articles, 35 conference papers, 5 book chapters, edited 120+ international conference proceedings, delivered 90+ lectures in 28 countries, and served as Editor-in-Chief of about 8 Scopus-indexed journals from 2010 to 2022.

He has received the Bharat Jyoti Award in 2013 for Best Researcher and the Global Awards in 2012 for developmental projects. H has been featured in international biographical directories since 2022.

Saji has led regional workshops across Asia-Pacific and South Asia including Singapore, Hong Kong, Kyoto, Manila, Shanghai, and Kuala Lumpur. He serves as jury member for the Creative Decisions Foundation at the University of Pittsburgh, USA and the Association of Higher Education Multidisciplinary Researchers, Manila Chapter, Philippines.

Dr Muhammad Ayoub

Dr. Muhammad Ayoub is a chemical engineer, educator, and researcher working at the intersection of sustainable energy, catalysis, and environmental engineering. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia, an MS in Environmental Engineering from Korea University, South Korea, and a BE in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, University of the Punjab, Pakistan. He is a Registered Environmental Engineering Professional with the National Registry of Environmental Professionals in the United States and a Senior Member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.

Dr. Ayoub currently serves as Visiting Professor of Practice in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at New Mexico State University, where he teaches core chemical engineering and unit operations laboratory courses and advises the AIChE Student Chapter. With more than a decade of academic experience and five years of industry engagement, his work focuses on biomass conversion, biofuel production, catalysis, CO₂ capture, and green hydrogen technologies. He has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications and holds four patents, and his research impact has been recognized in Stanford University’s Top 2% Scientists Worldwide list from 2021 to 2025. Dr. Ayoub is also known for integrating active and cooperative learning into engineering education and for mentoring more than 100 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students from diverse backgrounds.

His research and outreach activities support global sustainability goals through projects on waste-to-fuel technologies, bio-based materials, and carbon utilization, while his international workshops, short courses, and collaborations continue to promote innovation, inclusive education, and global partnerships in chemical engineering.

Dr. Neeta Kumari

Dr. Neeta Kumari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, India. She got M.Sc. in Environmental Science from BHU, Varanasi, M.Tech in Environmental Science and Engineering and Ph.D from BIT, Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand. Her research areas are Water and wastewater management, Watershed management and optimization of Environmental systems. She has also supervised BTech, MTech and Ph.D students.

She has many papers in national and international journals of repute. She has got sponsored projects on Groundwater fluoride management using biochar, funded by Jharkhand Council on Science, Technology and Innovation (JCSTI), Jharkhand.
